Are you an expert at Family Life?
It says in the dictionary the term Parent means:
"A father or mother; one who begets or one who gives birth to or nurtures
and raises a child; a relative who plays the role of guardian"
The dictionary also says says nurture means:
"Helping someone grow up to be an accepted member of the community"
A parent is a helper and a guide, that help and guidance may well
be ignored by your child some of the time and it is most likely you will get it
wrong some of the time as well.
Reassuringly it does not say anywhere parents are an expert
in everything!
